Disaster Mode

Keep the clinic moving when the internet drops

Cloud practice software usually stops when the line goes down. Disaster Mode keeps a limited set of clinic workflows running on the device in front of you, then reconciles the record in full when you are back online. You get the resilience people used to self-host for, without giving up a managed cloud PMS.

What gets easier on a bad line

Resilience without self-hosting

The clinic can keep seeing patients through an outage, then catch the record up when the internet returns. That is the point of Disaster Mode: not a paper fallback, and not a second database.

The consulting room does not go dark

When the internet fails, the team can still work through a limited, practical set of features instead of reaching for paper or waiting for the line to come back.

Records catch up when you reconnect

Work done while you were offline is queued and reconciled against the live practice database. You do not rebuild the morning from memory.

Cloud software without the usual trade-off

You stay on a hosted PMS. Disaster Mode is there for the outage, not a reason to run your own servers in a cupboard.

When the line is down

A limited feature set, on purpose

Disaster Mode is not a second, half-finished PMS. It is the work that cannot wait: seeing the patient in front of you, capturing what happened, and keeping the day moving. Anything that needs a live connection stays unavailable until the practice is online again.

When the line comes back

Full record reconciliation

Once the internet returns, queued work is written back to the live record. If two people touched the same thing while you were apart, Vetrics keeps both versions so the team can choose. Nothing is silently overwritten.

Built for cloud practices

You should not have to choose cloud or self-hosted

Independent clinics pick cloud software for good reasons: less hardware, someone else on updates, a system you can reach from more than one site. The fear has always been the outage. Disaster Mode is how Vetrics answers that, so the practice stays resilient without going back to self-hosting.

If an internet outage still means paper notes and a painful catch-up, we can show you how a limited offline feature set and full reconciliation keep the practice moving.
